Property currently has tenants but looking to sell.

Can you suggest anybody who would want this property as an investment?

  • Best to speak to local estate agents they will always have investors on their books who will want properties with tenants in.

  • You might need to sell for a lower amount, at least lower than current market value to sell with sitting tenants. We sold our property after having difficulties ending the tenancy agreement with the people renting. They did not want to leave and made it clear they would make it difficult for us to sell if they had to move out, so we sold, but lost money. If you are in this situation then try to get out before you have no value left in your property.

  • If its an investment property then having a tenant in during the sale can be a good thing for the investor to take over. If its more of an owner occupier property then it may prove a little more difficult but nothing that can't be worked out.
