Approximately how much would a half acre of land in Petworth, West Sussex be worth please

Just incase no-one from Petworth area tries this one for you! Land is basically worth, what you can do with it...! So if you could get planning permission on that land to build, the highest value of what you can build will determine the value of the land. If it has restricted usage or is greenbelt for instance, then the value is typically quite low and sometimes renting it out can be an option (someone with horses perhaps) Access to the land will also play a huge part in the value, no access renders the land useless almost (landlock) easy access onto a built up road could be great for development. Definately call your local agent and ask them. Remember though, if you can build on it, the higher house prices rise the more valuable the land will become!

Your best bet is to contact a Land Agent. I'm not sure whether you're selling or buying. The value is very much down to the use of the land ie grazing land is not 'worth' as much as residential redevelopment land.
