I’m not sure there’s any particular rule, but if you’re going to sell in this market you need to put it on at a reasonable price to attract buyers to view and be prepared to negotiate on that price. If you just load up the price because you know you’ll get knocked down, you might not get people through the door. While the whole market is difficult, anything you’re trying to buy will also be subject to the same kind of negotiations.
