Charlie, I would reccommend you hold fire on selling your house for the moment. I know that the Romford, Barking and Dagenham areas have suffered considerably due to the recession, as such house prices have fallen significantly. It's unlikely that when the games are on you will see a rise in the value of your house. Perhaps the only way you could prosper from the Games is if you were to rent your house or your parking space. Locals in Wembley often allow people to park on their driveways when a big game is on. Your house will rise in value as the economy and property market recovers. As for getting any lift because of the games... It is doubtful. Hope this was useful.
