Appointment of agents

Can I appoint more than one agent at the same time to sell my property? If I have terminated my sole agent, can I appoint other agents to sell my property?

  • Hi. As long as you are not signed into a sole agency agreement, you are able to list with any number of agents you wish. However we do say this with caution as if you have multiple agents listing your property and boards outside your property, it may seem you are too desperate to sell which will start off low offers that you may not be pleased with. We hope this helps.

  • Check your contract carefully, you may need to let the new agent know about any potential buyers your current (or now de-instructed) agent may charge you for, otherwise check with the agent you're thinking of using, they're usually help with estate agency contracts.
