A cash buyer can usually move quicker than one who has to get a mortgage. Cash buyers usually have all their finances in order, there is no chain, no holdup.

The reason that house sales are so slow these days is not to do with falling prices, it's to do with high deposits for mortgages. A cash buyer doesn't have this problem, so they are more likely to complete and complete quickly. But you will get offered less.
