Park Road (W4 3EY) is a 5-10 walk from Chiswick Mainline Station (South West Trains), which provides services into Waterloo via Clapham Junction every 15 minutes. The journey takes roughly 25 minutes to Waterloo. It is usually possible to get a seat at Chiswick, even in the rush hour... It is also around 10-15 minute walk to either Gunnersbury (District Line, Richmond Branch) and Chiswick Park (District Line, Ealing Broadway Branch)... Travelling west (from Central London) it doesn't really matter whether you board a Richmond or Ealing Broadway train, as both stations are about the same distance from W4 3EY. However, travelling east from Chiswick Park or Gunnersbury, there could be a 10-15 minute wait for a train as both stations only get half the amount of trains (the District Line divides at Turnham Green). Journey time into Westminster is about 20 minutes on a good day, it takes 5 minutes to get to Hammersmith, where you can change for the (faster and more frequent) Piccadilly Line to get to destinations such as Piccadilly Circus and Covent Garden. In the rush hour, trains are usually packed by the time they reach Chiswick Park/Gunnersbury, however, it is possible to get a seat at all other times... Hope this helps. Joseph

The Chiswick Mainline Station is just 4 minutes walk from Bolton Road. Trains are every 15 minutes into Waterloo. The previous answer stated Park Road is 5-10 minutes from the station, whereas one end of Park Road is actually opposite the station. The 272 bus stops in Bolton Road and also opposite the station, with a regular service to Chiswick High Road and the Westfield shopping mall.
