Is it a good residential area to buy property?

  Its pretty much city centre. The houses are lovely but the street runs parallel to a main road into Chester which has fast food shops on it and is the main road of out town for drunk people at the weekend. The area is getting better and a Waitrose is due to open over the road this year but right now it isn't the nicest looking area.
