  • Hi, By this if you mean on Zoopla, then the answer would be unfortunately not as Zoopla is a property portal for Estate Agents and therefore if you wish to advertise on Zoopla we would advise that you instruct a local estate agent who advertises on Zoopla to let your property which will give your property listing advertisement on Zoopla as well as other property portals and in most cases local press etc. If you mean can you rent it out yourself and not necessarily advertise on Zoopla or via an estate agent then you can as anyone can rent their own property privately however letting agents vetting procedures are very in depth when checking out the suitability of a tenant and there are some tenants with a poor credit history who would attempt to go for a property with a private landlord as sometimes those landlords will not do full checks. This is a recipe for disaster and my advise would be to go through a reputable ARLA or RICS regulated letting agent.

  • Hi. You can't advertise on Zoopla without an agent unfortunately. If you are looking for a low cost option that gives you control of your property, such as meeting prospective tenants and choosing who to let to, why not consider an online letting agent? Please feel free to contact me for more information. Best wishes, Eleanor 01284 711020, The Online Letting Agents
