Lloyds Bank compared house prices with local annual earnings across all England and Wales' national parks (with the exception of Northumberland). 

From one to 10 (one being the most affordable) here's how they rank:

1. Snowdonia: North Wales

Average house price: £173,170

Price to earnings ratio: 6.5 (average house costs 6.5 times the average salary)
