Alexandre Boyes engages fresh, contemporary marketing with traditional values utilising google, twitter, the major internet portals, the Kent & Sussex Courier and SO Tunbridge Wells Magazine with over one third of our applicant network from London. Issue 1 of AB Living, our new online magazine, was emailed to c.15,000 subscribers in October 2013, showcasing our sales and lettings properties in addition to contributions from our local network of property professionals in and around Tunbridge Wells who add a depth of support to our Clients on a day to day basis. If you would like your property featured in this magazine, or advice from any of our teams, please contact me by telephone or email.

In addition to the above, 2015 has seen the introduction of our inhouse property maintenance team, created to support our lettings and block management clients. Alexandre Boyes recognise the importance of being able to offer a quick, reactive and reliable service to ensure all of our clients’ needs can be met. The team are reactive to repairs and maintenance, including but not limited to general repairs, decorating, carpentry, plumbing, kitchen and bathroom fitting, and roof repairs. With an ever expanding portfolio, we are trying to evolve the multi-disciplined approach that has become the ethos of Alexandre Boyes.

Mark has worked as a multi trade professional in the South East for 35 years specialising in carpentry and joinery. During his career he has worked on projects at the Royal Society of Arts, the British Museum and the Saatchi and Saachi advertising agency crafting their headquarters board tables. Other projects include shop fitting, stable building in Stroud, antique restoration, penthouse refurbishments in St Johns, and in more recent years working in both the private and social housing sector across the South East. Mark is proving to be a great asset in providing a responsive repair and maintenance service to our lettings and block clients.

Alexandre Boyes are also proud to announce the launch of our Trade Apprenticeship Scheme.

The scheme is part of the Government's National Apprenticeship Service and in partnership with East Kent College.

The apprentice will be working as part of the property maintenance team, created to provide additional services to Alexandre Boyes' Lettings & Block Management Clients, alongside qualified members of staff. The apprentice will gain experience in decorating, carpentry, plumbing, plastering, groundwork, electrical and roofing over a two year period working towards a GQA Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Building Maintenance Multi-Trade Repair and Refurbishment. Once awarded we will look to support them in obtaining the Level 3 NVQ and specialising in their preferred trade.

Kate Boyes, MRICS, Managing Partner of Alexandre Boyes said "we are so pleased to be involved in the National Apprenticeship Service and look forward to welcoming our first apprentice. This is a great scheme as it offers job opportunities and a career path to local young people as well as bringing fresh new talent into our team. We plan to make this an annual recruitment strategy to coincide with the growth of our maintenance department. There is a huge demand for skilled trades people and I am thrilled that Alexandre Boyes can work with East Kent College to create these opportunities".
