Lee AlterLettings Manager
Lee began his career in lettings in 2008 and has worked his way up to his current position. His responsibilities include managing a team of negotiators, monitoring and reviewing their performance, staff training and development, valuations, updating clients and negotiating offers. He enjoys the fast paced, challenging work environment and being part of a dynamic team. Away from work, Lee relaxes by watching and playing a variety of sports, going to the gym and meeting up with friends.
David BaileySales Manager
With a background in recruitment, David moved into property sales in 2007. His current role is very varied and covers canvassing for new properties, providing valuations, viewings, negotiating offers and progressing sales via solicitors. David feels he is lucky to see the fantastic views of East London and the City on a daily basis and he loves the satisfaction of handing keys over to an excited new owner on completion day.
Gary AtkinsSenior Property Manager
Gary began his career in the property industry as a sales negotiator in 2004 and worked his way through sales, lettings and property management to reach his current position. He joined the Franklyn James team in 2012, having moved from corporate management. Gary has attained NFoPP (National Federation of Property Professionals) Level 3 and over the years has accrued a wealth of knowledge enabling him to comfortably head up the property management team.
Paul Van HalleProperty Manager
When he was younger Paul wanted to be an architect, instead he began working in estate agency in 2005 and has never looked back. His extensive knowledge of lettings and property management, together with his communication skills, make him a vital point of contact for landlords and tenants. He is fluent in British sign language and is learning Lithuanian. Paul is a member of ARLA, has NFoPP Level 3 and is continuing his studies. He enjoys clay pigeon shooting and exploring England’s heritage.
Joanna Socko MARLAAccounts Manager
Joanna speaks Polish, enjoys baking and has worked in estate agency since 2004. She joined Franklyn James in 2005 as a property administrator and now holds the NFoPP Technical Award in Residential Lettings & Property Management and is a registered ARLA member. Joanna looks after client and office accounts and over the years has built up very strong relationships with landlords and tenants alike. She enjoys the problem solving aspect of her job and likes things to be organised and efficient.
Sandy Chatterjee MARLAManaging Director
After graduating in Economics, Sandy began a career in banking and was head-hunted to run a financial services team. He subsequently turned his attention to the Docklands property market and used his financial services skills to build up a substantial property portfolio. This led to the opening of the first Franklyn James branch in Limehouse in 2004 and further branches have quickly followed.
Nicole KennedyLettings Coordinator
Born and raised in North-West London, Nicole started out in estate agency in 2013, having previously worked in designer fashion sales. Nicole relishes a challenge and is committed to providing a very high standard of service to all landlords and tenants. She achieves this by being highly organised and working efficiently to deadlines. Outside of work, Nicole makes sure she takes time to relax; whether this be with a great book, a large slice of reality TV or by going to a beauty salon.
James BickfordSenior Lettings Negotiator
Raised in Chigwell, James is currently training for his ARLA lettings qualification, having started working in estate agency in 2013. Prior to this, James trained as a quantity surveyor, but he prefers his current role as it is more sociable and he gets to meet new people every day. James is a committed supporter of Arsenal FC and he plays football three times a week. He enjoys the fast paced market of the Canary Wharf area and would like to own a fast car to match - an Aston Martin would do.
Tarkan AhmetSenior Sales Negotiator
Tarkan is fluent in Turkish and has a degree in Business Studies and a continuing interest in business and finance. He is widely travelled, once even cycling to Paris, and has plans for further globetrotting, but probably not on a bike. With a background in media sales, IT recruitment and motivational coaching, Tarkan moved into estate agency in 2011 and became a landlord himself. For him, a daily commitment to excellent client care and communication are key to establishing outstanding business.
