Fresh opened for business in 2010 as a two-person estate agency in Stanford-le-Hope, Essex specialising in the Thurrock property market. An initial objective was to be unique from competitors and to be known in the local area for doing things differently and within four years successfully opened its second Thurrock office in Grays to become Thurrock's natural choice of Estate Agent for consumers with its 2 offices for 1 commission offer. Fresh believes in maximising the marketing of a client's home in order to gain maximum value and have a unique marketing cycle that is followed to make sure this happens. 2012 saw the production of the Fresh 'life' and 'property' magazines, they are networked with over 750 offices in the country which includes an office in London's Park Lane with interactive window displays and in 2013 started their unique London property road shows, taking properties to the London buyer. The whole London approach resulted in selling property for a higher amount and in 2013 Fresh found that a London buyer paid 5.2% more for property than a local buyer. Fresh presence on the high street derives from the idea to create a different style of offices than that of competitors to be more eye-catching, current and trendy as a strategy to entice more buyers and attract a greater level of business. Better services are also provided to customers to enhance the property search experience. Fresh are one of few licensed Estate Agents in the area after passing exams through the NFOPP in 2013 and becoming members of the NAEA. Fresh are also members of the Property Ombudsman and in 2014 Fresh won the prestigious Thurrock Business Awards for best new company.
