The business


The Castle Inn reopened on 1st August 2013 following a period when it had been closed. The new Lessees have completely refurbished the pub, bringing The Castle Inn back to its former glory and it is now bustling again as a popular venue for locals, regulars and tourists in this sought after village. The trade is approximately 50/50 split between food and wet trade making this a 'proper' pub. The Castle supports local football and cricket teams and has two darts teams.
