History
Designed by the Brighouse based Architect, George Hepworth in the late 19th Century, Parkwood Mills once comprised a complex of weaving sheds, warehouses and associated textile production buildings. Textile manufacturing required a great deal of water and a reservoir was built on site to supply the mill and still remains a feature of the development today. Since its conception in 1850 Parkwood Mills has been granted Grade II Listed status due to its historical importance and significant contribution to Britain's rich architectural heritage.
