Directions
From Exeter take the Crediton Road (A377) to Crediton. Upon entering Crediton, pass the Shell Garage on your left. Continue towards the town passing a motorcycle garage on your right and take the next right hand turning (almost doubling up on yourself) signposted Tiverton (A3072). Continue to the next junction and turn left. At the mini roundabout take the second exit (bearing right), continue on this road for about 3.5 miles. Take the first turning signposted Cheriton Fitzpaine (on the left). Continue on this road bearing left when the road forks into the village. Upon reaching the t-junction turn left and Pynes Barn can be found after about 100m on the left hand side.
Situation
The barn is positioned in the middle of Cheriton Fitzpaine, which is a very pleasant village with all of the expected amenities including two public houses, a Post Office, a primary school and an array of clubs and societies. The market town of Crediton is within a 10 minute drive and the Cathedral City of Exeter is only 20 minutes away.
Description
The barn is effectively part of a terrace, being attached on both sides to character village properties. The building is predominantly brick built with a slate roof. It forms a part of a larger Grade II Listed property and has detailed Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent for conversion to a separate dwelling in its own right. The barn also benefits from a long south facing mature garden. The architect's drawings are available for inspection and have been reproduced to form a part of these particulars.
