And now for something completely different! This unusual and very individual detached bungalow was formerly part of the Pean Hill Estate, and is believed to have been built according to the current owner in the 1930's.
The current owner first visited Whitstable in 1990 having been first been attracted to the town by it's charm and character.
This unique home will provide you with comfortable one bedroom accommodation and has a lounge which has a delightful dual aspect plus a kitchen that the present owner has had installed with attractive cottage style units complete with wooden work surfaces that add to the properties overall charm.
There are well stocked established cottage style gardens to the front and rear which are relatively easy to maintain and provide a lot of colour with a variety of established shrubs, bushes and flowering plants.
You will find this bungalow located on the southern outskirts of Whitstable on the main bus route that leads to the City of Canterbury with its historic Cathedral and wide selection of shops, bars and restaurants.
What the Owner says: I have to admit that I felt sorry for this property when I first saw it 7 years ago but I could see it had potential to create a wonderfully cosy home.
I loved the fantastic semi rural feeling of the location as it made me feel like I was in the countryside although in reality I am only a short car journey from Whitstable Town Centre.
If I decide not to drive I am fortunate to have the main bus service almost outside my front door which means I can get into town or visit Canterbury very easily.
