The market town of Bromyard, 4 miles away, offers a range of independent shops, churches, supermarket, primary and secondary schooling, leisure facilities, library and a theatre. The cathedral cities of Worcester and Hereford are 10 miles and 19 miles respectively, allowing easy commuting distances, whilst access to the motorway network, via junction 7 of the M5, is approximately 13.5 miles distance. Excellent railway links to Birmingham New Street and London Paddington can be found in Worcester.

The grounds that surround the Hall offer a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a peaceful haven amongst beautiful countryside. From the offices of Hayes, head to the Top Cross in town and turn left onto the High Street. Proceed through the town and by the railway station turn right under the bridge following the sign to Bosbury, B4214. After approximately 3 ½ miles, take left turn, staying on the B4214, heading to Bromyard. Stay on this road and at the staggered crossroads; go straight across continuing to follow signs for Bromyard. Pass through Munderfield and at the end of the road, turn right onto the A465 and then right again onto the A44, heading towards Worcester. Keep on this road for approximately 4 ½ miles until you see the Wheatsheaf Pub on your left. Turn left by the pub signposted to Whitbourne. Take the first turning left and when you reach the T junction, turn left and shortly after you will see the entrance to Whitbourne Hall on your left. Proceed along the driveway until you reach the Hall, whereupon the gravelled parking area will be found.

Whitbourne Hall was built in the 1860s by the Bickerton-Evans family who were inspired by the architecture seen on an archaeological trip around Greece and the eastern Mediterranean. The Hall displays a wealth of elegant and classical period features including fluted columns, impressive atrium, mosaic style flooring, the largest blue etched glass ceiling in any private house in Europe and grand marble staircase. The apartment is situated on the first floor of the building. The period wooden door leads into the entrance hall with useful built in cupboard for coats and shoes. The sitting room has original coving, stripped wood flooring and a large sash window complete with original Victorian curtain rail and rural outlook towards the Malvern Hills. It has a very useful built in storage cupboard and benefits from a wood burning stove. The kitchen/breakfast room has a range of fitted pine units and an old range cooker can be found in the kitchen area. The breakfast area, with another large sash window, has a light and airy feel. Off the hall is a cupboard under the stairs with plumbing for a washing machine. The bathroom has a white suite and electric shower over the bath. Stairs lead to the first floor landing where the airing cupboard can be found. The master bedroom is located on the mezzanine overlooking the sitting room and the single bedroom is located on the mezzanine above the kitchen. A further bedroom is located off the landing. A pull down ladder gives access to an attic room with ample under eaves storage. As a resident of Whitbourne Hall, you are entitled to use the impressive ground floor reception rooms, including decorative drawing room complete with hand-painted gilt work and original chandelier and murals, library with original books and bookcases, morning room, dining room, kitchen and the hall itself.
