Situation


The village of Buxton lying 10 miles north of Norwich City Centre has had a settlement since Roman times and is nestled to the west side of the Bure Valley, around which there are attractive walks. The narrow gauge Bure Valley Railway does, as its name suggests, follows the river valley between Wroxham and the busy market town of Aylsham, which is about three and a half miles north west of Buxton. Access to the Broads and their facilities is readily available, Coltishall is less than four miles away and Wroxham is about seven miles distance.
