Boslymon Cottage has a truly delightful setting in beautiful gardens, part of which have been acquired from neighbouring farmland several years ago and fully integrated with mature hedging. The gardens comprise mainly lawns but in addition has a separate lower vegetable garden of good size and a further enclosed garden area to the front of the property with neat lawns, flower borders and a patio.
Alongside the small tarmac drive area leading to the garages there are double gates then giving access to a high enclosed garden area, part of which comprises a mound of old granite from a nearby quarry which has of course been redundant for many decades. Advantage has been taken of this mound which is partly within this paddock by the planting of a wide variety of shrubs and small trees.
The property is well screened from the lane by mature hedges and is accessed either through a high gate alongside the lane onto a paved area to the rear of the kitchen or by high gates leading alongside the detached double garage block into the part enclosed rear garden, again with lawns and shrubs. The house and gardens enjoy lovely views over open country including the Redmoor Nature Reserve areas and towards the well known beauty spot of Helman Tor.
Internally the property is presented in immaculate condition. Recently the kitchen has been totally refurbished with breakfast area and high quality units incorporating an Electrolux cooker with ducted extractor hood over and two full height matching cabinets with full height slide out shelves and racks offering considerable storage space. The kitchen is finished with a ceramic floor and being in the older part of the cottage has a separate staircase leading to bedrooms three and four with vaulted ceilings. A door then leads through to the inner hall and to the more recently extended part of the property which houses the further three bedrooms and the bathroom and separate w.C.
The lounge offers considerable "olde worlde" charm with its massive open stone fireplace with wood burning stove unit, beamed ceilings and engineered wood laminate floor finish. From here a door then leads into the large sun lounge areas with French windows leading onto the front garden and with large windows enjoying the fine country views. The floor here is finished with large ceramic tiles and the hall and bathroom areas are finished with small ceramic tiles. The principal bedroom is of good size and has an en-suite shower room with w.C. And wash hand basin all newly installed.

Follow this lane for a short distance until you come to a crossroads. Go straight across and follow this road for about half a mile. Boslymon Cottage will be found on the right hand side after the lane goes down hill.
