4 bedroom detached house for sale
£325,000
Property info
Property description
This four bedroom detached home built in the late 1800's in the Stoke Lodge area has a larger than average corner plot, a real gardeners delight. To compliment the garden are bbq and patio areas and a vegetable patch to keep that Sunday dinner table stocked all year! The 1870's cottage has been extended into an impressive family home with planning permission granted for a one bedroom annexe including reception room, kitchen and bathroom that would provide an ideal separate living space for the extended family or business from home. The accommodation in the main house comprises sitting room, lounge/diner, kitchen/breakfast room, study, shower/utility room, four double bedrooms and a family bathroom.
The real selling point of this home is the ample gardens that surround it and we would suggest that booking a viewing is the only way to fully appreciate what is on offer.

what the vendor say'S:
We bought 1 Brookfield Road when we were first married in 1975. At the time it was a two up, two down cottage with a six foot square kitchen. Over the last 36 years, we have undertaken five seperate building projects as our family grew and we extended the house to the subsantial family home it is today. It has been a wonderful home offering us all the space we needed as our two boys grew up, and we even accommodated our son and his family who lived with us for a time without us getting in each others way. The garden has also changed in shape and structure over the years, and now accommodates a lawn for a game of football or rugby, enough garden and greenhouse to provide our vegetables, and enough space for four cars, not counting the garage/workshop space which is usually full of anything but cars. We have easy access to the buses, motorways and Patchway station as well as a very good local shop on Stoke Lodge. Whilst we are looking forward to emigrating, we have many fond memories of our time here.
