Otterburn is a small village in Northumberland, 31 miles (50 km) northwest of Newcastle upon Tyne on the banks of the River Rede. It lies within the Cheviot Hills about 16 miles (26 km) from the Scottish border. Directions

From the A69 heading East towards Corbridge. Carry on over the Styford roundabout for about two miles then take the slip road sign posted Corbridge. At this roundabout turn right onto the A68 North, sign posted Jedburgh. Follow this road north until you reach the junction with the B6320 sign posted Otterburn and Northumberland National Park, turn right for Otterburn and take the first slip road on the right signed 'Old Town Farm'.
