Local Area
The Towans holiday cottages for 400 acres along the coast. The site is quiet and family friendly, without with the chalets being built up organically over time so they are not set in regimented rows. There are sandy play areas for children and it is a pleasant 4 minutes walk across the dunes to the sea. Wi-Fi is available at the site office.

There is a small local shop nearby and a laundrette at the neighbouring caravan park. There are a couple of pubs - one with a family restaurant and beach terrace within walking distance.

Hayle town is about 5 minutes’ drive from the chalet or there is a bus stop just outside the site. There is a very pleasant walk to Hayle across the fields by footpath, which takes about half an hour.

Hayle is on a National train route and has a good local bus service. It has all the usual amenities - shops, banks, restaurants, etc. And is very well placed as a touring centre. Penzance and Truro are only a short drive away. The Eden Project is under an hour's drive.
