Lundin Links is a 19th century village which was once a holiday village and a suburb of Lower Largo, but now has a strong identity of its own. Different in style to its earlier neighbours, it is distinguished by a number of beautiful large houses. The most unusual building is the Lundin Links Hotel, built with red bricks and tiles with black and white half timber inserts and headed gables, making it a local landmark. The beeches of the East Neuk are superb and the East Fife coastal path is a real walk on the wild side, the first walk of its kind in Scotland which extends for approximately 78 miles, starting at the Forth Bridges and finishing beyond the Tay Bridges. It gives spectacular views which cannot be seen from the coastal roads. Lundin Links and the surrounding villages offer an array of local services.
