This is before we mention the ocean of funky bars, cafes and restaurants on offer - we love 'The Hive' for luscious lunchtime treats and 'Yamamouri' for some noodles and vino. The Ritzy cinema will keep any audience happy with its thoughtful mix of arthouse and mainstream titles and 'The White Horse' really rocks out on the weekend. Check out Brixton Village, hailed as the 'most exciting, radical venture on the British restaurant scene' by a recent review! If you need a pint of milk and a Sunday paper, both Sainsbury’s and Tesco are a 2 minute walk. Clapham and the ever popular Abbeville Village are a 20 minute stroll in the other direction. It'll take you the first three years to sample all the cuisine (Carmen tapas is our fave!) and you can walk it off on Clapham Common. Khamsa on Acre Lane is great for some fab Algerian cooking - it's getting great reviews. All in all, a real winner!
