Property description

A beautifully situated semi detached country home available to the market for the first time in over 35 years. The property constructed of local stone with some later additions, enjoys the most picturesque position adjoining next to the River Tone, which runs in a deep cutting to the rear of the property ensuring there is virtually no risk of flooding. The house which has been the subject of much care over many years of ownership, has spacious well proportioned accommodation served throughout via a oil fired central heating system, with three reception rooms, a smart fitted kitchen, excellent utility area and study along with three well balanced first floor bedrooms and both ground floor bathroom and first floor shower room. Outside the gardens are a spectacular combination of smart pleasure garden and lawns, along with natural mature trees bordering steeply down to the river. To the rear of the property there is a good open terrace giving views over the valley and on towards open countryside in the distance. As is traditional with cottages of this type we understand there are riparian boundaries indicating the boundaries of the property are in the middle of the river. In all the grounds extend to approximately 1/3 of an acre.
