To reach the property if travelling from Clitheroe take the B6243 towards Longridge, crossing Edisford Bridge which spans the River Ribble, and bearing right by the Edisford Bridge public house towards Bashall Eaves. At the first junction turn left and continue along, dropping down and crossing the bridge spanning the River Hodder, and then turning first left on to Birdy Brow, to the top of Kemple End and on reaching the summit take the first road on the left hand side which takes you to Kemple Cottage.
If travelling from Whalley leave the village in the direction of Clitheroe, turning left at the mini roundabout into Station Road towards Mitton, continue into Mitton Road under two bridges and passing Mitton Hall on the left hand side, over the bridge spanning the River Hodder to the t-junction. Turn right towards Clitheroe, bear left at the next junction and left again at the next t-junction. Continue on the road crossing the Hodder Bridge, turning left on to Birdy Brow and then to the top of Kemple End, taking the first road on the left hand side at the summit.
