Taunton, the county town of Somerset, is 13 miles away and is readily accessible. It has a large range of shopping, recreational and scholastic facilities and good communication links via the M5 motorway and a main line railway station.
Description
Ashbeer Lodge is believed to have been built around the 1950s. Adjacent to the property is a self-contained annexe which has a sitting/dining room and kitchen together with a double bedroom, walk in wardrobe and an adjoining bathroom suite. The annexe has electric night storage heating.

The property is approached from the road through double wrought iron gates that open onto a large tarmacadam driveway that provides parking and a turning space. It also gives access to a substantial garage / workshop which has electric light and power. At the back of the property there is a further range of outbuildings including a utility / laundry room with Belfast sink and plumbing for washing machine and an adjacent fuel store/freezer room.
The gardens are situated to the north west of the property. There is a deep paved patio, a terrace and swimming pool with covered pergola. Adjacent to the terrace is a further range of useful outbuildings including a timber-framed potting shed. Beyond the terrace there is a level area of lawn surrounded by mature shrubs and trees which open onto an additional area of garden within the field.

Leave Taunton in a northwesterly direction on the A358 towards Minehead. Shortly after passing the village of Bishops Lydeard turn left onto the B3224 signposted to Elworthy. Upon reaching Elworthy Cross turn right signposted to Monksilver. Continue along this road for ¾ mile and the property can be found on the right hand side identified by double wrought iron gates.
