From the moment you approach the front door of this large character home, you will start to sense you are about to see something quite special. Open the stained glass entrance door into the reception hallway and the attention to detail and quality of finish will give you a taste of what to expect further in the home.
The lounge is light and airy and with its high ceilings and beautiful fireplace, is a perfect room to relax in and settle down for an evening. Delve further and you will see the formal dining room currently used as the children's playroom. Next though is the beautiful kitchen/breakfast room which will most certainly be the hub of the house with panoramic floor to ceiling bi-folding doors across two walls. Whether it be used for day to day needs, keeping an eye on the children doing homework etc., or it would make a great area for entertaining family and friends as opens out onto a large surrounding decked area with dedicated paved barbeque area and formal mature garden. At the top of the garden is an enclosed large children's play area and large Dutch workshop.
The quality, character and size continues over the next 2 floors where the bedrooms and bathroom and en-suite can be found. The bathroom exudes luxury. His and her sinks are something normally only dreamt of. The roll-top bath will allow anyone a good soak at the end of the day to rid yourself of the stresses after a hard day at work. So much more could be written about this home - a viewing is needed to appreciate how much.
What the Owner says: We were immediately drawn to our house because of its size, character and the neighbourhood feel of the road - it's a hidden gem. We have enjoyed every minute of living here. Everyone knows each other and there is a real community feel with little through traffic. Working in London is so easy as we can walk to the station in around 5 minutes. There isn't anything in the house that we haven't touched as we bought it as a real project. We are so pleased with the way it has all turned out, exactly as we dreamed it would. There are so many things we love about the house but having the size of garden and parking here are the things we feel the luckiest to have.
