From Helensburgh follow the road to Faslane, turn right towards Coulport (A814). At the roundabout turn right towards Arrochar. Continue along and underneath the railway bridge. Turn first left to Portincaple. Proceed down the hill to the first set of garages after the bend in the road. Turn left, bearing left and over the bridge. As the road forks, stay to the right and continue down the hill to where the road forks again, staying to the left. The gate showing Fernhill is then on your left.
