Situation
2 Glencart Grove is situated in the district of Milliken Park which is between the village of Kilbarchan and the fringe of the town of Johnstone.

The house is set amid level mature gardens within a small enclave and is well privatised at the rear by a full height stone wall which protects it from the minor access road.

Kilbarchan & Johnstone both offer a good range of local shops and services, which easily cater for everyday needs and requirements. A Morrisons and Asda supermarket are within 2 and 4 miles respectively.

The area is well served by local state primary and secondary schools which are within walking distance. Kilmacolm village (6 miles) has the independent St Columba's with its enviable record of academic achievement. Glasgow has further independent schooling.

The Braehead & Silverburn retail villages are around 10 miles where there is a tremendous range of High Street multiples together with Marks & Spencer and Sainsbury's anchor stores. Braehead also has an ikea furniture store.

The city at 14 miles has all the cultural, higher educational and leisure services normally associated with a major international centre.

As with most parts of central Scotland one is never too far from a golf course and 2 Glencart Grove is no exception: Johnstone has a Cochrane Castle golf club and at nearby Bridge of Weir there are two fine golf courses, Old Ranfurly & Ranfurly Castle, all of which are popular and challenging 18-hole parkland golf courses.

Castle Semple loch offers inland sailing and the firth of Clyde has excellent chandlery and marina services as well as some of the uk's most scenic and enjoyable coastal sailing.

The area has a regular bus service to Glasgow and there is a main line rail station at Milliken Park which is only about 750 yards from the house. Glasgow Airport is only 6 miles and offers domestic and international flights.

The A737 on and off spur are at Kilbarchan which subsequently leads to the M8 motorway corridor which provides fast motor car access to central Scotland and beyond.

Travel Directions
From Glasgow city centre proceed in a westerly direction on the M8 motorway. After 10 miles bear left at junction 29 following signs Irvine on the A737. After 3 miles take the Kilbarchan exit signposted A787, at the roundabout turn left following the B787 for Johnstone, proceed to the next roundabout Take the second exit on the B787 following signs Howwood. Continue along the B787 for about 750 yards turning right onto Milliken Park Road. Follow Milliken Park Road across the River Cart and as the road bends around right, the entrance to Glencart Grove is on the right hand side, Number 2 is the first property on the right hand side.
