Yew Trees lies in an elevated position on the edge of Streatley. It is only a short walk from the centre of the village and enjoys access to the adjoining National Trust-owned Lardon Chase. The Goring Gap, as this area is known is the point where the Berkshire Downs converge with the Thames. It is a renowned beauty spot and designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
