Property description

Description Built in 2009 "Vizion House" was architecturally designed to be very energy efficient while providing luxurious living. The house is built with all the living accommodation located on the first floor to make the most of the sun and the bedrooms on the ground floor to keep them cool. Set on a very secluded plot hidden away from Shirley Drive and the park opposite, this property is everything you would expect from a very modern house: Lots of open plan living and large windows to allow as much light in as possible.

The property is approached via a long driveway from Shirley Drive and you are greeted with imposingl gates, which are electrically operated and open up to the parking area and double garage. At the front of the house is where most of the garden is, which makes the most of the westerly aspect and as this area is very secluded. The garden is mainly laid with artificial lawn for ease of maintenance and looks good all year round. There is also a wonderful seating area with a path to the side that leads through to the front door. Once inside there is an entrance porch that is separated from the rest of the house by large glass double doors and side panels. In here there is plenty of space to keep shoes and coats hidden away.

The entrance hall has angled stairs leading up to the first floor and rooms off to the left and right. There is under stairs storage and LED lighting that guides you up the stairs.

The master bedroom is a large double bedroom with custom fitted wardrobes, large picture windows overlooking the front, air conditioning and fully tiled en-suite shower room with walk in rain forest style shower.

There are a further three double bedrooms located on the ground floor, a large shower room and family bathroom. Both of the bath/shower rooms have modern styles and are finished very well. There is also a utility room which has space for the usual appliances and a cupboard housing the hot water cylinder.

Once upstairs there is a landing area with frosted glass door leading in to the office. This is perfect for anyone who works from home or just needs a good space for a study. There are large windows overlooking the garden which provide a lot of natural light. Next to the study is the very large living room. This has a fitted modern glass fronted gas fire, large windows overlooking the front with electrically operated black out blinds and every movie fans ultimate dream: A superb drop down projector screen and state of the art projector which is perfect for enjoying film nights or large sporting events.

As with most modern houses the most impressive room is the kitchen/ family room. There is a wonderfully modern kitchen fitted out with a various range of high gloss units housing all sorts of different and clever storage areas as well as two eye level ovens a convector oven and a built in coffee machine and a dishwasher. There is an impressive island in the middle with 5 ring induction hob and rising extractor fan which provides even further storage. There is a huge amount of work surface space which is fitted in a pale coloured Corian. You can sit up at the island like a breakfast bar but there is also plenty of space for a large table and chairs as well as a more social seating area with sofas. There are bi-fold doors that lead out to the balcony meaning you can really open up the kitchen with outside.

The house also benefits from an under floor heating system that runs throughout the house, engineered solid oak flooring in the hall ways and other rooms, and solar panels which subsidise hot water bills.

Location "Vizion House" is located towards the southerly end of Shirley Drive in Hove; arguably one of the more desirable roads in the area and opposite Hove recreational ground which provides an excellent open space for dog walkers or for children to play in the summer. Hove mainline train station is a short walk away and the A27 is very easily accessed by car meaning driving to London or Chichester is very easy.
