Property description

This Penthouse apartment is in one of the best locations in town. The High Street is considered the cultural hub of Lewes, boasting a wealth of history and architecture. The abundance of restaurants, cafes, independent boutiques and traditional pubs really add to the wonderful, buzzing community.

It is only a five minute walk to the train station which provides direct links to London and Brighton and you are seconds away from the bus route between Brighton and Tunbridge Wells. You really won't need to go anywhere else for all of life's necessities.

Step into the inviting hallway and make your way through to the living area, which features an open plan kitchen area and also provides glorious views of Lewes Castle, certainly a talking point when entertaining friends and family. It looks stunning when the castle is lit up during the winter evenings. You simply can't put a price on that!

The master bedroom offers an almost panoramic view towards the South Downs and has the additional benefit of a luxurious ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom provides views of the castle too and makes a very comfortable guest room, should they wish to make a weekend of it, so that separate shower room comes in handy. Light floods into this apartment and depending on your schedule, you can see the sunrise and sunset every day!

What the Owner says:
We originally moved to the Penthouse to access the good secondary schools nearby and found it to be a very quiet and comfortable home.

We appreciate the great views and light at all times of day and enjoy the interesting shops and amenities in the immediate area.

From time to time we have let the apartment to Glyndebourne Opera Company and all of our tenants have enjoyed the attractive location, the great kitchen area and a luxurious power shower.
