"This has been a very happy home for our growing family for the last 14 years.

We moved here for the schools and our three children have walked to the Watford Girls and Boys Grammar schools in safety with friends from school living all around us.

We moved here to a house from the 1970’s and took two years of major refurbishment and building work to bring it up to date.

My favourite place is the large kitchen/breakfast room which is the centre of the home for us as we love to cook and spend time together here. With double doors into the dining room we have a great set up for big gatherings of family and friends and easily fit 18 guests around the table.

Our open fire in the lounge is also a winner with family and friends. My husband has his big hobbies room for his own space, and on the 2nd floor, our huge loft extension has been the most wonderful space for our teenage children, who would bring so many friends over to chill and play and sleepover without disturbing us downstairs, and we knew that they were all safe and secure there rather than in the town.

Our beautiful secluded sunny garden has been the setting for many magical summer parties, with lights through the trees and dancing into the night, and since our golden retriever arrived 6 years ago, we have explored the joys of Cassiobury park and woods every day, just 200m away. Now our children are grown and we will move on, to leave our house to another lucky growing family."
