Property description

This home could be ideal for a growing family or even a more mature owner with a layout which offers you the versatility you may very well be seeking. It is in an ideal position should you work at the Queen Elizabeth Queen Mother hospital or for a family because you are surrounded by good schools and of course you have Westwood Cross just up the road where there is always plenty to do. This home certainly offers plenty more than first meets the eye.

Once inside, the downstairs space will impress, with the extended living room which gives you a defined dining area where you can enjoy a family meal and then retire to the lounge area where you can catch up on your favourite TV show. Due to the fact that you have two bedrooms on the ground floor also, you could make one of these a home office or playroom should you not need the additional sleeping accommodation.

Upstairs is bedroom 1, where subject to the necessary planning permission you could create an additional bedroom and possibly an en-suite as your family grows. Outside you have a garage where you can keep your car frost free in the colder months or do what most do these days and use it for additional storage. There is also plenty of off street parking so as the kids grow up they will have space for their cars too.

There is a modest rear garden, with enough space for trampolines and slides etc, but there is also a good sized frontage. Living on this quiet cul de sac you will not have to worry about cars rushing by.

Please refer to the footnote regarding the services and appliances.

What the Owner says:
I have owned this home over 40 years and have raised my children here and I must say I could not have wished for a better home. Now the children are all grown up I simply do not need all the space and I have bought a more suitable home.

I have spent an awful lot of time and money on our home and the new owners can quite happily just move in and put their own stamp on it. The extension at the rear has come in very handy, just when the kids were young I needed that extra space for them to play and also so we could all sit down as a family. Although I will be sad to see it go, I know the time is right for someone else to breathe some fresh life into this home.
