Busk House has an interesting and historical association with a revered artist, Kurt Schwitters who alongside Picasso and Duchamp, was considered to be one of the most pioneering artists of the twentieth century. He was known to one of the owners of Busk House, Miss Tyson, who was an avid collector of antiques, who commissioned Schwitters to paint the house from the garden.
