Property description

Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac in the new Malling area of Lewes, with easy access to countryside walks sits, this delightful three bedroom family home.

The open plan lounge and dining areas are the hub of the home, where you can enjoy evening meals together around the table and then relax on the sofa in front of the cosy fire, keeping an eye on your children playing in the low maintenance rear garden. Light floods into this room from the sliding doors and the modern fitted kitchen compliments the living space well.

From here, you have a children's play park just around the corner, ideal for them to burn off that extra energy and interact with friends and you are only a short walk to a local convenience store, which is really handy to pop out for the paper or you run out of milk or bread! South Malling CofE Primary School is about a ten minute walk away.

Lewes is the county town of East Sussex and boasts a wealth of history. Situated in the recently formed South Downs National Park, it offers easy access to coast and countryside. The variety of High Street shops and independent boutiques, cafes, restaurants and traditional pubs make for great weekends or evenings out. There is a selection of well regarded schools and the mainline train station provides direct links to London and Brighton.

What the Owner says:
This house has been a great family home, in particular the play park close by. Knowing that your children can have freedom and space to be with friends and enjoy playing safely is a big plus point. Also having a very good primary school within walking distance.
We have made many improvements to the house in our 34 years here, both inside and out. The summerhouse in the garden has been a great addition.
Being so close to beautiful green countryside and views over to the chalkpit at nearby offham, one of our favourites is to walk through the old Lewes to Uckfield railway cutting, which is just one of the many lovely ways into town from Malling. We hope future owners will enjoy living here as much as we have.
