The Vendor's View

There were two main things that attracted us to this property when we came across it some 13 years ago. The first factor was the space that the house provided, having a young family at the time; and the second was location, being just 2 minutes down the road from my son’s school (St. Christopher’s Junior School).

The area is really well known for the excellent schools and you are spoiled for choice. Our own children went to Kings, but the Simon Langton Boys and Girls schools and St Anselm’s are all very close by and Barton Court Grammar is just a little further down the road.

My favourite room is definitely the kitchen/diner. We knocked the rooms through ourselves and re-fitted the kitchen. It’s essential to have this kind of kitchen when you have children, and whenever anyone comes round, they always head straight for the kitchen!

The location here is so accessible and, as someone who doesn’t drive, I often walk into the city centre, which only takes me about 10 minutes. The bus stop is just across the road and the buses go every 10 minutes, which is really convenient.

We are going to miss everything about this house, but most of all the space now that we are downsizing. We have brought our children up here and the house has such a wonderful, spacious feel. It’s been a real family home for us and we will remember our time here with fond memories.
