Property description

A character Victorian cottage, which the owner advises us dates from 1867. Internally the property boasts an exposed brick feature fireplace in the spacious lounge/diner, which creates a homely feeling in the light, bright airy room.

If you are a keen cook then you will love this larger than average kitchen area which is well equipped with plenty of storage and work space. Once you have cooked the evening meal you will have the choice of eating al-fresco in the warmer months as the kitchen leads you out to the tranquil rear garden. The current owner has ‘green fingers’ and has created a peaceful and private rear garden from where you can enjoy a glass of wine after a hard day’s work.

The location is brilliant, just a short walk to the town centre, where you can find a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants. You are also you are only a 10 minute drive to Waltham Cross or Chingford. Loughton and Theydon Bois and only a short drive away if you prefer to use the underground for commuting and the M25 is only a few minutes away if you need to drive further afield. So this really is a great location for all the family.

The home is being sold chain free, helping to make the move as stress free and quick as possible!

What the Owner says:
Since living here I have completely refurbished the kitchen area and bathroom. I have also added underfloor heating to both these rooms along with a new fibreglass roof to this section of the home.

Both the bedrooms here are doubles are there is also the possibility of adding another bedroom by converting the loft, subject to planning permission being obtained.

I have loved living here and will really miss it, the neighbours are lovely and it is so quiet and peaceful here.
