Property description

*cash buyers/investment only

Chester University is one of the oldest English higher education establishments of any kind, pre-dating all but Oxford, Cambridge, London and Durham. However there are only approximately 1,700 university-run beds. This isn’t even enough to accommodate those in their first year of studies. This severe under-supply will persist for the foreseeable future, especially given the growing number of applications and places at the university. To help put it into perspective, in 2000-01 the institution only had 6,960 students, and this has since increased by over 1060 students per year to now cater to over 16,000 students! Meaning Chester University now has nine people clambering for every one university space!

The University finds it draws in students from the United Kingdom, Europe and overseas, particularly France, Germany, Spain, Finland, Australia, the United States, India, China, Nigeria, Georgia, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Thailand, Saudi Arabia and Malaysia. But of course it isn’t limited to these countries.

These days it is becoming more evident that students are looking for high quality new build apartments and are happy to spend more for prime locations with easy access to the universities.

Northgate Point will cater to and exceed the needs of the growing number of students, providing individually-designed luxury studio apartments for the next generation of UK and overseas students living in Chester. Each unit is designed to match the current market demand for high-spec accommodation, and includes: En-Suite bathrooms, bespoke kitchenettes with contemporary appliances, coupled with modern living, study and sleeping areas.

The site is located in a prime central location, which is within 10 minutes walk of the University of Chester Campus. This combined with the fact that the site is within walking distance of Chester Railway Station and the high street shops and bars of Chester City Centre are only 200 meters away makes it an ideal site for student accommodation and investment.

With no other student accommodation development in Chester offering the same level of quality and planning permission notoriously hard to obtain, Northgate Point will provide a high standard of living for students for years to come and a university life experience like no other. Managed by an experienced management company means you will be left with a 100% hands-off income generating investment. Fill out the form today to enquire about available units as units in Chester are never available for long.
