Transport

In Chapel-en-le-frith you won't be stuck for commuting with trains running into nearby Buxton roughly every 50 minutes and Manchester Piccadilly every hour. There are regular buses to Buxton from the bus stop opposite the New Inn Pub, near the railway bridge. Buses to Manchester will depart from the bus stop directly under the railway bridge.

Health

On a clear day why not climb up Eccles Pike, a short 1.5-mile walk from the town centre which has a 360-degree panorama and its unique sculptured topography allows visitors to view all major Dark Peak summits.

Directions

From Chapel-en-le-frith you can follow the A6 road towards to the M60 to get to Manchester and the surrounding area, alternatively join the M6 south towards Stoke-on-Trent and Stafford.
