This achievement can be seen at its best every Thursday, with the popular produce market that dates back to 1300 and includes famous Lancashire cheeses such as the town's own Garstang Blue.

Transport

The A6 Garstang Bypass links the town to Preston to the south and Lancaster to the north, both just over ten miles away. The bright lights of Blackpool are just 16 miles away via the M55, while the M6 can be accessed just six miles to the north at junction 33 or around 8 miles to the South at Junction 32.
