Zoopla.co.uk #2 UK property website in March

4th May 2011

...with growth continuing to outpace rivals

The latest data for March from Nielsen, which monitors website traffic, once again confirms Zoopla.co.uk as the number 2 property website in the UK, for the third month in a row.

The independent figures from Nielsen show that Zoopla.co.uk attracted 1.81m unique users in March, behind Rightmove (3.46m) but ahead of both Findaproperty (1.57m) and Primelocation (1.03m). Zoopla.co.uk has now been ranked as the UK’s second most-visited property website consistently for each of the first three months of 2011, according to Nielsen.

Zoopla.co.uk continues to outgrow its rivals, as the only UK property portal showing double digit audience growth both on a month-on-month and year-on-year basis. And Zoopla.co.uk continues to invest significantly in growing its brand and delivering exposure and enquiries to its members, this week having launched its biggest national TV campaign to date.

Alex Chesterman, Founder & CEO of Zoopla said: “These figures are good news for the industry overall, showing that the number of consumers searching for property is growing. The fact that more and more are turning to Zoopla.co.uk when doing so is even better news for us and we look forward to further growing our market share as we continue to focus on making Zoopla.co.uk the best place to find property and to market property.”
