This is a substantial Grade II Listed village residence, offering a well-balanced and practical range of reception and bedroom accommodation. The house has many delightful period features and offers fine views from the first and second floor rooms out over the Lincolnshire countryside. We gather that the property dates from the early C18th with later adaptations culminating around 1810 when the wonderful castellated front façade was added. As Pevsner aptly said of the house in his book Buildings of England, it was "a builders job, but a lively one".
