This lovely country home was converted from a former stone coach house. It is set in a quite idyllic position being elevated, taking full advantage of the views.
The house was modernised in about 1970 and the accommodation is very flexible. The beamed ceilings are high. There are presently three large bedrooms, one of which could be used as a self contained annex or studio having access to a shower/WC and from a staircase down to separate access into the property.
Included in the ground floor accommodation is a shower room with separate ground floor WC. The present office/study could be used as a formal dining room if required. From the kitchen/dining room there is a walk through into a lovely sitting area with french doors onto the paved sun terrace. There is a basement with plans to convert into a utility room. There is a solar panel.
The ground would be of particular interest to garden lovers especially those with a passion for nature and conservation. The house stands well back from the country lane. There is a long stone driveway flanked on one side by woodland leading to more formal gardens. To one side of the house is a very sunny and sheltered south facing sun terrace area. To the rear is most of the woodland through which runs a small stream which is a very attractive feature. There is a mature vegetable plot.
The front of the house overlooks The Teme Valley and the grounds back onto open hillside with Offas Dyke just beyond.
