Sellers need to improve their broadband connections to sell

Owners of UK property who are looking to find a buyer for their home should make sure that they are doing all that they can to ensure that there is a good internet connection at the site.

It was reported recently that buyers now see a good broadband connection as the most important aspect of properties for sale, with many even checking the speed of the connection they can receive while they are at the house for a viewing.

Dominic Baliszewski, telecoms expert at broadbandchoices.co.uk, said that having a speed of broadband on a house listing can also increase the chance of getting a viewing for a house by more than 50 per cent, and advised that Brits take steps to make their connections faster.

He said that the first step to take is to simply use an online checker to make sure that you have an accurate reading of the speed that you are achieving in the house.

"From that you can then decide what you want to do and how you can go ahead and make it a bit faster. There are six simple steps you can take, such as using a wired connection as opposed to a wireless router, or even just moving your router can make your signal faster," the expert outlined.
