What does under offer mean when advertised on the house for sale?

  • Much the same as 'Sold subject to contract' (STC): a buyer has made an offer, the contract is not yet concluded, in principle the seller might be tempted by a higher offer.

  • Hi, Under Offer (or SSTC) will mean that the property is currently in the process of being pruchased and therefore there is a sale proceeding which will mean the proeprty will no longer be available on the market unless otherwise stated within the descriptions such as a public notice.
