Are the people friendly? What are the local amenities like?

  • Great place to be if you ask me - I've thought about moving but not found anywhere as nice. There's a selection of around 5 pubs on the high street together with a dozen restaurants, with country and a number of things to do on your doorstop. Downside is that big supermarkets other than Waitrose are a drive away, and that depending on where you work (if London) can be on the long side. It's a 35 min train to Liv St, but depending on where you live / work, that could end up being an hour and a half door to door journey. Train service (as everywhere) could be better.

  • I would suggest that you look at the local authorities’ website or to see what the crime statistics etc for this area are. You can also look at the local tourist board website which gives you an up to date overview of the area. I would also visit the area and ask some locals.

  • Hi, We would suggest that you get in touch with local estate agents in order to get some background about the area. You can search for agents using the ‘find agents’ tab on the top of the Zoopla Page. We hope this helps.
