Can a teenager of 16years old with a baby, rent a property on her own using housing benefit?

  • You will find the Landlord will want a guarantor for you to rent the property and he will have to agree with you living there. I think you will have to wait until you are 18 years of age to move into a rented property.

  • It is possible, but you will need a guarantor. Your local citizen’s advice bureau should be able to help.
